"Spent a week wandering Palermo and Recoleta and genuinely fell in love, but I nearly lost an ankle to a broken baldosa outside my hotel every single day. The steak and Malbec at every corner dive were so good I forgave the dog poop obstacle course on the pavements. Also budget extra time for everything because nobody, and I mean nobody, is in a hurry here. Still, the architecture is stunning and the tango in San Telmo made the jet lag worth it."
