"Booked a 20-minute Uber from Westlands to the CBD and arrived three hours later having watched a giraffe casually outpace us on the highway shoulder. The city itself is a fascinating mix of glass skyscrapers and matatus decorated like nightclubs on wheels, which is genuinely more entertaining than most museums. Nairobi National Park is absurdly good, lions with a skyline backdrop is not something you forget, but please budget an entire day for anything involving Uhuru Highway at rush hour."
