"Where every coffee costs the price of a small apartment"
Official Coat of Arms
A shield bearing a crossed pastry fork and a grumpy waiter rampant, set upon a field of imperial gold, with a ring road (the Ringstrasse) encircling the whole design like a moat of traffic, above the Latin motto roughly translating to 'We Invented Psychoanalysis Because Of This City'.
TripAdvisor Review
★★★★☆ 4/5
"Spent three hours in a coffeehouse being aggressively ignored by a waiter in a bowtie and honestly it was the best service experience of my life. The Sachertorte was excellent, the Hofburg was stunning, and I nearly had a breakdown trying to figure out the tram ticket validation machines. Also everyone here is suspiciously well-dressed for a Tuesday morning, it's intimidating."— Gary Fenwick, Doncaster
Property Listing
Charming imperial capital offering unparalleled access to opera houses, palaces, and coffeehouses where you're legally entitled to sit for six hours over one Melange! Perfect for buyers who enjoy grandeur, bureaucracy, and being quietly judged by a barista in a waistcoat.
Twinned With
Salzburg — Both cities spent centuries producing composers nobody in your extended family can actually name.
Supporting Evidence
Vienna has topped global 'best quality of life' rankings for over a decade running, largely thanks to its enormous municipal housing program that puts most countries' entire housing policy to shame.
