"Stopped here on the way to Stonehenge and honestly considered just staying to watch the Finkley Down roundabout traffic instead, it was more mesmerising. The town centre has that classic 1960s post-war rebuild charm, all concrete and optimism that's aged like unrefrigerated milk.
