"Lovely Georgian cathedral city but do not attempt to drive through the ring road at 5pm on a Friday, you will lose the will to live. The cathedral spire is genuinely stunning and the Festival Theatre does good productions, but the city centre shuts down like a Sunday in 1974 once the shops close.
