"Drove up the Pacific Highway specifically to see the Big Banana and honestly it delivered, though I'm not sure what I expected from a giant fibreglass fruit. The marina is lovely at sunset and the jetty walk is genuinely underrated, but half the CBD felt like it was still deciding whether to be a town or a service station. Whale watching in season was the actual highlight, not the banana, don't tell the banana.
