"Spent four hours in a taxi trying to cross town for what Google Maps insisted was a 20-minute trip, but honestly the tacos al pastor at the stand near my hotel made up for it. The Zocalo is genuinely breathtaking and the Anthropology Museum is world-class, but my hotel floor was noticeably not level, which I later learned is because the whole city is slowly sinking into an old lake bed.
