"Came for the Priory ruins, stayed because I got stuck behind three tractors on the way out of town. Worksop Priory is genuinely lovely and worth a look, but the town centre itself feels like it's been quietly waiting for a regeneration grant since 1987. The market square has potential but half the units are shuttered, and I'm still not entirely sure what Worksop is actually for. Decent chip shop though."— Derek Pemberton, Chesterfield
