Banksy's Parking Nightmare

"Where art meets gridlock daily"

Official Coat of Arms

A shield divided quarterly: in the first quarter, a golden parking meter rampant on a field of double yellow lines; in the second, a suspension bridge obscured by cranes proper; in the third, a Banksy stencil mysteriously appearing overnight; in the fourth, a queue of Range Rovers statant before a farmers market. The crest bears a hot air balloon tethered by red tape, supported by two hipsters holding artisanal coffee cups.

TripAdvisor Review

★★★☆☆ 3/5

"Lovely weekend in Bristol! The street art tour was fantastic until we got stuck in traffic for 2 hours trying to get out of Cabot Circus car park. Spent more on parking than dinner at the harbourside. The Clifton Suspension Bridge is gorgeous though, and at least the hipsters in Stokes Croft were friendly while we waited for our overpriced flat white."

Property Listing

Vibrant cultural quarter with characterful Victorian terrace boasting original features including no parking, single glazing, and a 45-minute commute to anywhere useful. The property benefits from being within walking distance of seventeen independent coffee shops and a Banksy that may or may not still be there by completion.

Twinned With

Los Angeles, California - both cities where you'll spend half your life looking for somewhere to park and the other half stuck in traffic getting there.

Supporting Evidence

Bristol has more parking wardens per capita than any other UK city outside London, yet still manages to have a chronic shortage of parking spaces, creating a perfect storm of urban frustration.
