Caldicot, Wales

Chepstow's Quieter Cousin

Official Coat of Arms

A shield bearing a motorway junction rampant above a Tesco trolley, flanked by two house price comparison charts, with the motto 'At Least We're Not Newport' inscribed on a banner of honest beige.

TripAdvisor Review

★★★☆☆ 3/5

"Stayed here while visiting Chepstow Castle and honestly forgot I was in Wales until I saw the bilingual signs. The town center is compact (very compact) but the Tesco is decent and you're only 20 minutes from proper attractions. The locals seem genuinely surprised when tourists turn up."
