Punt Traffic Paradise

"Where bicycles outnumber brain cells"

Official Coat of Arms

A golden bicycle rampant upon a field of azure traffic cones, flanked by two punting poles crossed beneath a crown of Morris Minor exhaust fumes. Below, a scroll bearing the motto 'Stuck Behind Students Since 1209'.

TripAdvisor Review

★★★☆☆ 3/5

"Lovely historic university town, though I spent more time stuck behind cyclists than actually seeing the colleges. The punting was nice until our guide kept dropping the pole. King's College Chapel is stunning, but good luck finding anywhere to park that doesn't cost more than a term's tuition."

Property Listing

Charming period property in this vibrant academic hub! Marvel at the authentic medieval street layout - so narrow and winding that modern cars create a delightfully intimate traffic experience. Walking distance to everything because driving distance would take three hours and cost your firstborn in parking fees.

Twinned With

Oxford — Both excel at making tourists feel intellectually inadequate while charging them £30 to park.

Supporting Evidence

Cambridge has more bicycles per capita than Amsterdam, which explains why the city centre sounds like a constant game of vehicular Tetris mixed with bell-ringing.
