Table Mountain Traffic Jam

"World's Most Beautiful Backdrop, World's Worst Water Pressure"

Official Coat of Arms

A shield bearing Table Mountain wreathed in its famous 'tablecloth' cloud, flanked by a Southeaster wind rendered as a small tornado stealing a sun hat, beneath a crossed candle and generator representing load shedding season, all beneath the motto 'Beautiful, But Bring A Jacket'.

TripAdvisor Review

★★★★☆ 4/5

"The cable car queue was longer than my actual flight to get here, but I get it, Table Mountain is genuinely stunning so I forgive it a bit. Camps Bay sunset was incredible until I remembered load shedding meant my Airbnb had no lights when I got back. Also nobody warned me the wind in the CBD would physically relocate my hat to another suburb. Still better than most cities, just bring a torch and a very good jacket."

Property Listing

Breathtaking mountain views from every window of this characterful Bo-Kaap-adjacent property, ideally located for the vibrant V&A Waterfront lifestyle and only a short, thrillingly windy stroll from Camps Bay's finest sunsets! Water tank and backup generator included at no extra charge, because here they're basically furniture.

Twinned With

San Francisco — Both are hilly, foggy, absurdly photogenic cities where the locals have quietly given up explaining the microclimates to tourists.

Supporting Evidence

Cape Town can experience four seasons in a single day thanks to its position between two oceans, and locals genuinely plan outfits like meteorologists.
