"Popped in specifically to see the famous twisted spire and yes, it is indeed crooked, so that's one box ticked in about four minutes. The market's decent if you like a bargain bit of tupperware, but the rest of the town centre feels like it's still recovering from about 1987. Had a passable coffee near the Crooked Spire pub and watched the traffic crawl round the ring road, which is apparently a local pastime."— Barry Fenwick, Mansfield
