"Came to Didcot expecting the famous cooling towers from the train window and found out they demolished them years ago, so now it's just a very organised town with a railway centre. The parkway station is genuinely impressive if you're into that sort of thing, and the retail park has a Nando's which is apparently the height of local excitement. Stayed one night for a work thing near the science campus and there's honestly not much to do after 7pm unless you enjoy watching trains, which some people do, very enthusiastically, at the Railway Centre."— Gary Trainspotter_Not_Really, Swindon
