"Drove five hours to see the Taronga Western Plains Zoo and honestly the zebras were the highlight of the whole trip. The rest of Dubbo is a flat grid of servos, RSL clubs and roadhouses that all seem to close at 6pm sharp. Nice pub meal at the Old Dubbo Gaol precinct though, and the locals were genuinely lovely, so three stars for hospitality, minus two for anything to do after dark."— Gary_from_Wagga
