"Lovely pier walk out to the lighthouse and the views over to Howth are genuinely stunning, but I spent three days too embarrassed to ask anyone how to pronounce the town's name so I just pointed at things. The Dart into Dublin is handy enough though the ferry terminal now sits there like a monument to journeys nobody takes anymore. Teddy's ice cream by the baths is excellent, but good luck finding parking anywhere near the seafront on a sunny Sunday."— Barry McGrath, Naas
