"Lovely gentle stroll along the prom past the pier, very clean, very quiet, felt like I'd wandered onto the set of a Werther's Original advert. The bandstand concerts are genuinely charming if you can get a seat before the mobility scooters form a barricade. Bring a cardigan even in August because that sea breeze does not care about your holiday plans.
