"Came for the Hat Works Museum, stayed because I got stuck in traffic on the M60 for two hours trying to leave. The viaduct is genuinely impressive, I'll give it that, looming over the town like a Victorian brick spaceship. Grand Central shopping centre has seen better decades but the market hall still slaps for a bargain.
