"Took the family for a bank holiday weekend and the Pleasure Beach delivered exactly what it promised, in that it was mildly pleasurable for about two hours. The Sea Life Centre was nice but the wind off the North Sea nearly took my mother-in-law off the seafront. Fish and chips were excellent though, genuinely no notes there, and the arcades on Marine Parade have a certain 1987 charm if you squint.
