"Killarney is genuinely stunning, the lakes and Gap of Dunloe are worth the trip alone, but good luck finding a parking space or a quiet pint in July. Every second shop is either a tweed emporium or an Aran jumper outlet aimed squarely at American tourists, and the traffic on the main street backs up behind jaunting cars like it's 1890. We paid a small fortune for a B&B that overlooked a car park, though admittedly the mountains behind it were free. Still coming back next year, mind you."— Deborah H, Ohio
