Lisbon, Portugal
Eternal Construction Site
"Seven hills, seven thousand roadworks"
Official Coat of Arms
A golden tram suspended eternally between two azure hills, surmounted by a traffic cone rampant. The shield is supported by two Portuguese pavement mosaics, one perfectly intact and one with seventeen missing stones, representing the eternal cycle of municipal maintenance.
TripAdvisor Review
★★★☆☆ 3/5
"Lovely trip to Lisbon! The trams are absolutely charming when they're actually running and not being repaired. Spent most of my time walking up impossibly steep cobblestone streets that seem designed to test your cardiovascular fitness. The pastéis de nata were divine, though I had to queue for 45 minutes at Pastéis de Belém behind what appeared to be the entire population of Germany."— Sandra_Loves_Hills from Milton Keynes
