"Drove through on the way to Calgary and stopped for the giant Teepee (world's tallest, apparently) which is genuinely impressive if a bit random next to the Tim Hortons. The Saamis Tepee overlooks the Trans-Canada like a proud sentinel guarding absolutely nothing else of note. Downtown has some nice sandstone buildings from the gas boom days but rolls up early. Rudyard Kipling supposedly called it 'the city with all hell for a basement' which is more exciting than my actual visit."— BarryFromBrooks_AB
