Milford Haven, Wales

Tanker Spotting Central

"Where oil refineries meet scenic views"

Official Coat of Arms

A shield divided per pale: dexter, a mighty oil tanker rampant upon azure waters; sinister, a castle tower proper overlooking same. Supporters: two seagulls regardant, one perched upon a petrol pump, the other upon a medieval battlement. Motto: 'Fortis et Industrialis' - Strong and Industrial.

TripAdvisor Review

★★★☆☆ 3/5

"Came for a romantic Welsh coastal getaway and got a masterclass in petrochemical infrastructure instead. The harbour views are genuinely spectacular, assuming you find massive oil tankers and industrial chimneys romantic. The fish and chips were decent though, and you can't argue with the dramatic sunsets behind the refinery towers."
