Concrete Jungle Gym

"Where Roundabouts Meet Dreams"

Official Coat of Arms

A shield divided into quarters featuring: a concrete cow rampant on a field of roundabouts, crossed shopping trolleys beneath a crown of brutalist architecture, and a motorway junction proper, all supported by two identical housing developments and crowned with the motto 'Orderly Progress Through Traffic Management'.

TripAdvisor Review

★★★☆☆ 3/5

"Visited Milton Keynes for a weekend and honestly, it's like someone played SimCity on easy mode. The shopping centre is massive and has literally everything, but getting there involves navigating what feels like 47 roundabouts. My sat nav had a nervous breakdown. The concrete cows are oddly charming though, and I've never seen so many perfectly planned cycle paths in my life."

Canberra — Both are meticulously planned cities where everything works perfectly on paper but feels slightly artificial in reality.

Supporting Evidence

Milton Keynes has more roundabouts per square mile than anywhere else in the UK, with over 130 of them creating a traffic system so efficient that visitors often get lost trying to find the 'normal' roads.
