"Went to see the cathedral which is genuinely stunning, Norman architecture and all that, real showstopper. Then spent forty minutes trying to find my way out of the Queensgate car park and lost the will to live somewhere around level 4. The city centre feels like someone built a beautiful medieval postcard and then photocopied it badly with 1970s shopping precincts.
