"Went up the Spinnaker Tower expecting sweeping views of the Solent and mostly got sweeping views of grey cloud. The historic dockyard with HMS Victory is genuinely brilliant, but then you walk ten minutes and you're back among retail parks and one-way systems that seem designed by someone who hates joy. Gunwharf Quays is nice for a coffee if you don't mind paying tower-block prices for a flat white. Three stars because Victory alone nearly saves it."— BarryFromBasingstoke_NeverAgain
