Tropea, Italy
Clifftop Calendar Syndrome
"Where every photo looks the same"
Official Coat of Arms
A shield quarterly divided: in the first quarter, a golden smartphone raised triumphant above azure waves; in the second, three red onions proper on a field of tourist tears; in the third, a parking meter rampant; in the fourth, the Church of Santa Maria dell'Isola surrounded by a bordure of zoom lenses.
TripAdvisor Review
★★★☆☆ 3/5
"Stunning views, yes, but good luck finding a restaurant table without booking three months ahead. Spent most of my time queuing behind influencers trying to get the perfect shot of Santa Maria dell'Isola. The red onions are genuinely amazing though, and the gelato almost makes up for the €8 parking fees."— BeachHunter92 from Milan

Supporting Evidence
Tropea's famous red onions are so sweet they're eaten raw like apples, which explains why the gelato here has such unexpected competition for dessert supremacy.
