"Came for the county town status, stayed because my car wouldn't start near the retail park. The old Bowyers factory smell has mostly gone now which is a genuine improvement, and the museum in the old Home Mill is surprisingly decent. Town centre has that classic 'half the shops are vape stores or charity shops' vibe though.
