Faded Boardwalk Dreams

"Where nostalgia meets slot machines"

Official Coat of Arms

A shield divided quarterly: a rusty slot machine rampant on a field of salt water taffy, crossed by a weathered boardwalk plank, surmounted by a seagull clutching a discarded pizza crust, all beneath a corona of flickering neon casino signs that haven't been fully functional since 1987.

TripAdvisor Review

★★★☆☆ 3/5

"Came expecting the glamorous casino resort from the movies, got a fascinating mix of grand old hotels and slightly sad strip malls. The Steel Pier was fun in a retro way, and you can't beat walking the famous Boardwalk at sunset. Just don't venture too far off the main tourist strip after dark."

Atlantic City is the only place in America where you can lose your shirt at a blackjack table, then immediately buy a replacement shirt that says 'My Parents Went to Atlantic City and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt' from a boardwalk vendor.
