Roundabout Kingdom

"Where the mouse pays your mortgage"

Official Coat of Arms

A shield divided into quadrants depicting a stalled car on I-4, a lightning bolt representing the daily 3pm thunderstorm, a timeshare brochure rampant, and a single mouse ear peeking suspiciously from behind an orange grove. The crest bears a sunburned tourist clutching a $9 bottle of water.

TripAdvisor Review

★★★☆☆ 3/5

"Spent our vacation stuck on I-4 between theme parks, which I guess is technically part of the Orlando experience. The heat and humidity in July made walking from parking lot to park entrance feel like a survival challenge worthy of its own attraction. Every restaurant within five miles of a park charges theme park prices for Applebee's-quality food, and the timeshare salespeople outside our hotel were more aggressive than anything on the roller coasters. That said, my kids had the time of their lives, so three stars."

Property Listing

Charming inland paradise offering year-round sunshine, a thriving tourism economy, and the unbeatable convenience of daily afternoon thunderstorms scheduled like clockwork! This magical community boasts proximity to world-class entertainment, gorgeous suburban sprawl, and traffic patterns that will make every commute feel like its own thrilling theme park ride.

Twinned With

Las Vegas — Both cities exist primarily to separate tourists from their money using elaborate fantasy architecture and relentless heat.

Supporting Evidence

Orlando has more hotel rooms than any other city in the United States, largely because nobody who visits can actually afford to live there once they see the theme park ticket prices.
