"Stopped here on the way to Edinburgh and ended up staying longer than planned because my car wouldn't start again - felt fitting given the old Leyland factory history. The Wetherspoons is doing heavy lifting for the whole town centre and honestly it's carrying the weight admirably. Nice enough walk up to the Knock but the wind up there could strip paint off a bus.
