"Came for a quiet Spanish getaway, got a forest of high-rises and a Union Jack on every third balcony. The Levante Beach is genuinely gorgeous and the paella at the old town restaurants is excellent, but by 11pm the strip is basically Blackpool with better weather. My eardrums are still recovering from the tribute act karaoke bar below our hotel. Would absolutely go back, ideally with earplugs."— Gary Pemberton, Doncaster
