"Charming abbey ruins, lovely Georgian architecture, and a genuinely excellent Greene King brewery tour - can't fault any of that. But try finding parking on a Saturday when the market's on and you'll understand why the locals all have the thousand-yard stare. Also the Arc shopping centre is nice but it's essentially the same six shops you get everywhere else in East Anglia.
