"Stopped in Castlebar on the way to Westport and honestly it grew on me by pint number two. The Mall is a lovely spot for a stroll and the International Four Days Walks event brings the whole town to life once a year, but the rest of the time it's fairly sleepy after 9pm. Parking is a nightmare on market days and I still don't understand the one-way system around the town centre.
