"Came for the Angel of the North, stayed because I couldn't find my way out of the Metrocentre car park for two hours. The Sage looks like a giant armadillo washed up on the Tyne, which I mean as a compliment. Millennium Bridge is genuinely lovely at night, shame about the walk back through the retail park to find a taxi.
