Largs, Scotland
Nardini's or Nothing
"Where the Clyde meets the ice cream and the ferry to Millport"
Official Coat of Arms
A shield bearing a melting ice cream cone rampant over crossed ferry timetables, flanked by a Viking longship that's actually just for the festival, topped with a seagull mid-theft of a fish supper.
TripAdvisor Review
★★★☆☆ 3/5
"Came for the Viking Festival, stayed because the queue for Nardini's ice cream was longer than my patience. The seafront is genuinely lovely on the three sunny days a year Ayrshire allows, and the views over to Cumbrae are stunning through the drizzle. Pierhead is fine but don't expect much after 8pm unless you enjoy watching seagulls plot crimes against chip suppers. Solid wee town, just don't come expecting nightlife beyond a chippy and a pint."— Gary Fenwick, Kilmarnock
Property Listing
Charming coastal residence offering UNINTERRUPTED sea views of Cumbrae, moments from world-famous Nardini's, and a lifestyle so relaxed you'll forget the last ferry to Millport left without you. Perfect for the discerning buyer who considers 'bracing sea air' a personality trait.
Twinned With
Millport — They're basically separated at birth by a ten-minute ferry ride and an ongoing argument about whose ice cream is better.
