"Came for the 'most easterly point in Britain' claim to fame and yes, technically, you can stand there. The seafront has a certain windswept charm if you squint past the boarded-up shops on the London Road, and the fish and chips near the harbour were genuinely excellent. Ness Point is basically a car park with a plaque, which feels about right for this town. Would come back for the beach on a good day, would not come back for much else."— Gary Pemberton, Peterborough
