Methven, Scotland

Methven the Moderately Mentioned

"We're definitely a place that exists"

Official Coat of Arms

A shield divided between a single roundabout rampant (representing our claim to minor traffic management fame) and a field of green dotted with sheep statant, all beneath a chief of perpetual low-hanging clouds. The motto reads 'Blink and You'll Miss Us' in tasteful serif font.

TripAdvisor Review

★★★☆☆ 3/5

"Visited Methven expecting... well, I wasn't really expecting anything, which turned out to be perfect preparation. The village green is pleasant enough, and the local pub serves a decent pint. Managed to drive through the entire place in about 90 seconds, which gave me plenty of time to appreciate the surrounding countryside. Would recommend as a convenient stopping point between somewhere and somewhere else."
