"Lovely little market town with a nice statue of Charles Rolls (of Rolls-Royce fame) but honestly I spent most of my visit trying to work out if I was in Wales or England, and so did my satnav. The Monnow Bridge gatehouse is genuinely impressive and worth the trip, but the shops shut painfully early and there's not much to do once the tea rooms close. Nye Bevan's statue is nearby-ish which is nice for the culture points. Would return for the bridge alone, three stars."— BorderConfused_Barry, Chepstow
