"Walked along the marina and it really is lovely, all those masts and the Royal Harbour sign, but then you turn one corner and it's vape shops and a chicken shop with a broken sign for three streets straight. The Sands and Main Sands beaches are genuinely gorgeous when the tide's out and the sun's out, which felt like a rare astronomical event during our stay. Tunnels tour was excellent, the tunnel-based history of this town is doing a lot of heavy lifting.
