"Stopped here on the way to somewhere better and ended up staying three hours because the M1 and M25 both had opinions about that. The Harlequin (sorry, 'intu', sorry, whatever it's called this year) shopping centre is fine if you enjoy shopping centres. Watford Junction station is a genuine marvel of trains that almost stop in London but don't quite commit.
