"Visited with the family expecting to see the sea, but apparently it was having a day off and left behind what looked like a chocolate mousse desert stretching to France. The pier is lovely though, and the kids enjoyed the donkey rides on what I can only assume was once the seabed. Pro tip: check the tide times unless you enjoy explaining to children why the 'seaside' has no sea."
