"Visited Goole for the docks and left with a deep appreciation for inland ports. The Lowther Hotel is fine, the Yorkshire Waterways Museum is genuinely more interesting than expected, but the town centre shuts down like it's under curfew by 6pm. Also I'm still not entirely sure why a town this far from the sea has so many ships in it, but that's Goole's whole charm I suppose."— Barry Fenwick, Scunthorpe
