"Took the family for a bank holiday day trip and the Harbour Park funfair was a genuine surprise - kids loved it. The Long Bench (allegedly the longest bench in Britain, or so they claim) is a fun bit of trivia but sitting through the whole thing is a serious commitment. River smelled a bit low-tide but the fish and chips on the front made up for it. Would come back but maybe not in a howling wind off the Channel."— BarryFromReigate_DayTripper
