Langstone, Wales

Causeway-to-Nowhere-on-Sea

"Where the road literally ends in water"

Official Coat of Arms

A shield depicting a stone causeway half-submerged beneath stylized tidal waters, surmounted by a crown of persistent drizzle clouds. The motto reads 'Semper Humidus' (Always Damp) beneath a worried-looking seagull clutching a flood warning.

TripAdvisor Review

★★★☆☆ 3/5

"Drove all the way to Langstone expecting a proper seaside town, but it's basically just a causeway that floods at high tide and some lovely old houses watching nervously as the Severn Estuary creeps closer each year. The Langstone Rock is nice enough, but you can see everything the village has to offer in about seven minutes. Still, the pub does decent fish and chips."
