"Nice enough market town but I spent most of my visit confused about whether I was in Wales or Shropshire, which apparently is the whole point. Powis Castle is genuinely stunning and worth the trip alone. Parking in the town centre is a nightmare on market day and half the shops seem to close at 4pm sharp.
