"Visited Llantwit Major expecting something grand based on the name, but it's really more of a large village with delusions of grandeur. The Old Swan pub does decent fish and chips, and the medieval ruins are genuinely impressive if you can find them behind the modern housing estates. Beach was lovely though - proper hidden gem once you navigate the confusing car park situation."
