"Came for a meeting near Gatwick and ended up stuck at the Redhill roundabout system for what felt like a geological age. The town centre has a certain scruffy charm if you squint past the chain pubs and the closed-down Marks and Spencer. Belfry shopping centre feels like a time capsule from 2003, and not in a nostalgic way.
