"Visited in November and nearly melted into the pavement walking from The Strand to Castle Hill lookout. The Strand itself is genuinely lovely at sunset but good luck finding shade anywhere else in this city. Magnetic Island ferry was the highlight - basically Townsville's escape hatch and everyone knows it.
