"Came for the Leather Museum, stayed because I got lost in the one-way system for two hours and missed my train. The town centre has a certain gritty charm if you squint, and the market traders were genuinely lovely to me. Bescot Stadium was fine but the walk there through the retail park felt like a pilgrimage nobody asked for. Would visit again but only with a satnav and low expectations."— Derek Hobnail, Solihull
